If you are feeling stressed, anxious, or worried try listening to birdsong.

Human nervous systems are hardwired to relax when they hear the songs & sounds of birds.

Their calls mean the environment is safe.

This eases the nervous system and lowers stress.

This is because…

Songbirds fall silent when a predator (or something frightening) invades their territory.

So, when they are singing, our nervous system knows there are no dangers nearby.
